design approach rings true

With 40,000 students and a huge range of courses, UNSW’s identity had become fragmented. We were brought in to give it new life and a sense of order. Parameters were tight. We had to retain the current logo, use all 15 faculty colours and make it easy to use by external agencies. Our solution was a concentric ring device representing the different faculties, complemented by large type. Approval took just five weeks – a time frame almost unheard of in the education sector.
