A treasure trove of ideas

A major earthquake on February 22, 2011 devastated the city of Christchurch. In developing an effective recovery plan that is easily approved by the Australian government, the city council decided to invite citizens to participate in the development of the plan.

Therefore, we came up with a concept to solicit ideas from everyone. First, I came up with a striking name, "Share an Idea," and gave it a bright and colorful brand identity. Based on this concept, we launched a website and created a bulletin board where people could submit their ideas. The campaign received a huge response, attracting over 106,000 ideas in just six weeks.
