Side by Side: Africa Inspires New Opportunities In Japan

As part of a general marketing campaign that is not dedicated to purposes such as tourism or investment, the Japan Cabinet Office continues to make the world aware of the global support activities that Japan and Japan are working on.

In particular, we focus on introducing examples of individuals building friendships with countries around the world and Japan. STRATEGY SET was commissioned to create a short documentary with CNN Create about two cases in Africa. The first example is the story of Hirofumi Kurino of United Arrows, who creates sustainable fabrics with local people in his atelier in Burkina Faso and incorporates them into his designs. Another case is the story of Mami Rudasingwa, a Japan woman living in Rwanda who is passionate about working to reach people in need of prosthetics and orthotics.
